Science SLAM!
Join us for the Science SLAM – in person or stream online! Thursday, August 18 at 7 p.m. CDT.
In this competitive event, co-hosted by Jocelyn Bosley (University of Nebraska) and Darrion Nguyen (Lab Shenanigans), Slammers will present 5-minute talks responding to the following prompt: “Tell us about a time during your research when you discovered you were wrong. How did you grow as a researcher and as a person from this experience? What new knowledge did you gain? What do you think this says about the role of ‘wrongness’ in the scientific process?” Watch the Slammers in action, then vote for your favorite to help determine the winner! In this Slam-tacular, watch 7 Slammers compete for your vote to win $1,000!
